Frequently asked questions

Answers to the things people most often ask before their first session.

How long does a typical coaching engagement last?

Most clients work with us for six to twelve months. A standard programme includes twelve fortnightly sessions of 75 minutes each, plus a 90-minute diagnostic at the start. Some clients continue with monthly maintenance sessions after the initial programme.

Can sessions happen online?

Yes. About 60% of our sessions happen over video call. The quality of coaching is the same. We use a secure video platform and send calendar invites with the link in advance. In-person sessions are available at our Lower Danielfield office for clients who prefer face-to-face conversation.

What does the introductory call involve?

It is a relaxed 30-minute conversation. We will ask about your current role, what prompted you to consider coaching, and what outcomes matter most to you. We will also explain how our process works and answer any questions you have. There is no commitment or follow-up pressure.

Is everything I share confidential?

Absolutely. Confidentiality is fundamental to effective coaching. Nothing you discuss with your coach is shared with your employer, colleagues, or anyone else unless you give explicit written permission. If your organisation is sponsoring the coaching, we agree on boundaries at the start so everyone knows what is and is not reported back.

How much does coaching cost?

Pricing depends on the programme length and format. A standard 12-session engagement for an individual leader typically falls between £4,500 and £7,200 plus VAT. We provide a detailed quote after the introductory call once we understand your needs. Team and group formats are priced separately.

What happens after you get in touch

We keep the process straightforward. Here is what to expect.

First, you send us a message or ring us. We will reply within one working day to set up a free introductory call at a time that suits you. During that call we listen to your situation and discuss whether coaching is the right approach. If it is, we send you a proposal within three days that outlines the programme structure, schedule, and investment.

Once you confirm, we schedule your 90-minute diagnostic session. This deeper conversation maps your current challenges, leadership style, and goals. Your coach uses this to design the specific focus areas for your programme.

Sessions begin within two weeks of the diagnostic. You receive calendar invites, written session notes, and between-session assignments. Your coach is also available by email between sessions for anything that comes up and cannot wait.
